Homemade Pumpkin Spice Latte

A healthy and delicious alternative to the Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte

Ingredients
  

Latte Ingredients
  • 1 cup coffee
  • 3 tbsp pumpkin puree canned or whole
  • 1/2 cup milk whole, almond, or coconut
  • 1/2 tsp pumpkin spice
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1-2 tsp sweetener stevia, coconut sugar, cane sugar, or maple syrup
Whipped Cream Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup coconut cream
  • 1/2 tsp sweetener stevia, coconut sugar, cane sugar, or maple syrup
  • 1/8 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 sprinkle cinnamon

Method
 

Latte Recipe
  1. Put the coffee, milk, and pumpkin puree into a pot over the stove on medium heat
  2. Heat for 7-10 minutes and keep mixing until the puree is melted into the coffee and milk
  3. Add all additional ingredients and mix together for a 2-3 minutes
  4. Pour latte into a mug and let it cool down for a few minutes (Careful, it'll be hot!)
Whipped Cream Recipe
  1. Mix coconut cream, vanilla extract and sweetener either in a blender or with a hand mixer, until a fluffy consistency is reached. This shouldn't take more than a minute or so
  2. Scoop the cream on top of the latte mug, and sprinkle a dash of cinnamon on topĀ
